The Johnston Honey environmentally friendly candles are made with only Minnesota beeswax. They are unprocessed (unlike paraffin which is bleached and cleaned with chemicals), and hypo-allergenic. The candles are 4 1/4 inches high and 3 inches wide.
A note about beeswax candles
All 100% beeswax candles must have their wicks trimmed to 1/4 inch on a regular basis. Long wicks can lead to either excessive flame (wax spills over the edge of the candle) or too little flame (the candles don't stay lite). The tapered candles should burn in an environment without air movement to prevent excessive dripping.
Beeswax candles give off a clear, bright light and are naturally drip-free (no added chemicals). As an added benefit, beeswax candles produce egative ions that clean the air naturally and aid in promoting a positive mood!
